Here is how it works:
We ship chocolate once a month to you or to the recipient of your choice. People choose Chocolatedelivers.com for Christmas, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentines Day, Graduation, Get Well, New Baby, Condolences, Congratulations, Corporate Gift Giving, I Love You, or Just Because.
Step 1
Decide whether you want the recipient to receive a gift every month for a full year (most popular), or for six months, or for three months.
12 Month Candy Club Advantages include:
- builds and establishes a long-term relationship between the sender and the receiver
- makes remembering loved ones, or valued customers more convenient — makes you look good!
- enables us to provide a wider selection of delicious chocolate
- costs less per delivery than shorter memberships
- costs less than most other types of gift delivery such as delivery of Flowers. You can smell the chocolate and EAT it too!
- when we run special promotions, such as adding a candy jar or similar candy storage container, we are only able to do it on one year commitments
Step 2 — Add to Cart
Once you have decided which membership you wish to purchase, you “Add it to your Cart”. We strongly recommend you process each order separately if you are ordering more than one gift , such as for corporate giving, because in all likelihood the delivery addresses will be different with subsequent orders.
Step 3 – Check out – Personal Information
When you proceed to the “Check out” you will be asked to supply your personal information.
Step 4 – Shipping Address
When you are finished entering your personal information, check the “tick box” (at the bottom of the personal information section) saying you have a separate shipping address and provide us with the shipping information.We only ship to Canada.
Step 5 – Select Method of Payment
At this point we only accept Paypal. However you do not need a Paypal account to pay with Paypal, you can use your Visa or Mastercard to pay Paypal and Paypal makes payment to us. It is a secure and trouble free payment process.
Step 6 – Comments Section
Add any special delivery instructions and your message. Note that our products include nuts and peanuts and if this is a concern DO NOT COMPLETE your purchase. We do not accept any liability for allergic reactions. See Terms and Conditions.
USE the Comments Section to add any details you want to add to the Greeting Card to go with the order. We are not responsible for any incomplete information or failure to provide information in this section. If you leave it blank, then the order will be shipped with a note informing the recipient who sent the gift without any further information. If you wish it to be anonymous we honor this request and we will not supply information if the recipient contacts our office. However, if the recipient believes they are being stocked or gifted against their desire to accept, future shipments will cease upon their email request and no correspondence between the ordering party and us will occur. (We do not wish to get involved in these types of situations.)
Step 7 – Complete Payment Process
When you have completed the payment process, a page will come up telling you your order has been received. If for any reason your order did not process, a page will come up showing the reason it did not process.
Step 8 – First Shipment
If your payment processed your order will be received by us. We will immediately queue your order. While we attempt to make sure shipments are released with appropriate timing for birthday or special occasion delivery, it is not always possible due to production timelines (for example short notice), equipment challenges beyond our control, and issues relating to our Shipper. We use Canada Post Express Post for fast, secure and timely delivery. Once an order leaves us, the shipping process is out of our control.
After the first shipment, the next month’s order will be shipped at the beginning of the month or the13th – 15th of the month which ever is closer to the one month anniversary of the first delivery. Each subsequent delivery will be delivered in one month intervals until the full term of the membership is completed.
About the Shipments
Chocolates are shipped by Canada Post. If their is nobody home at the delivery address, a card is left by the the Post Office and it becomes the recipients responsibility to pick up the delivery at the nearest Post Office, as listed on the card.
About Selection
OUR PRODUCTS CONTAIN NUTS, PEANUTS and MILK. This gift is not appropriate for Diabetics, or persons with allergies. The 12 Month Membership offers the greatest selection with anywhere between 2 and 4 varieties going out each month. Due to shorter duration the selection on the 3 or 6 month memberships are less and we also do not supply as much variety in each shipment on these memberships (typically 2 varieties per shipment).
Delivery Addresses
Try to give a delivery address where someone is home or available during the day. It is up to the post office whether or not they choose to leave the shipment. This may leave it vulnerable to weather conditions (rain, freezing temperatures, hot weather etc). The damage done by the weather is beyond our control. Therefore, we strongly recommend sending cookie deliveries to business addresses. If the Post Office takes the chocolates back to the Post Office and leaves a note for the recipient to pick them up, it could sit at the Post Office for several days which is not ideal. We are also not responsible for additional charges charged by the Post Office if the chocolate delivery has to be rerouted to a different address. It is your responsibility to inform us at least 30 days in advance of any address changes, by email to chocolatedelivers@gmail.com
